Jose Mourinho will enter the next stage of his restructuring
job at Manchester United by making Juan Mata, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marcos
Rojo and Daley Blind available for transfer,
according to the Daily Record.
Since taking over at Old Trafford, Mourinho has wasted no
time in putting his stamp on the playing squad by signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic,
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly. All the while, Juventus midfielder Paul
Pogba has been rumoured to be another major target.
But it is reported the Portuguese could become frustrated at
how long United are taking to move on the players he has deemed surplus to
requirements, something that could affect his preseason plans. Mata was a £37.1
million club-record signing from Mourinho's Chelsea in January 2014, when David
Moyes was in charge of United, while Schweinsteiger, Rojo and Blind all arrived
during Louis van Gaal's tenure for a combined figure of around £40m.
