The Weeknd Shares Photo Of Him With Selena Gomez

Crafting the perfect Instagram caption is a modern artform.

But sometimes, the picture itself is all you need, as The Weeknd decided on Saturday.

Sharing a rare snap of himself being embraced by girlfriend Selena Gomez, the singer posted the image without comment.

The  pair's fans weren't as restrained, rushing to give the image their seal of approval.

'Aww! Guys you are so so perfect, wrote daryrubalcava, while sarahalyasseenking commented simply: 'King and queen'.

The image comes as it was reported that Selena has been given the seal of approval by the mother and grandmother of The Weeknd - born Abel Tesfaye.

The Come And Get It hitmaker recently visited her boyfriend's home town of Toronto to meet his family.

A source said: 'They instantly took to Selena and they like her very much. They thought she was surprisingly down-to-earth and very friendly.'

And with the 27-year-old singer keen to establish a base back in Canada, he was thrilled Selena, 24, had a great time on the trip.

The source told Heat magazine: 'Abel also wanted to make sure Selena was able to relax in Toronto, as he's always wanted to have a home there.

'She proved to him that she can hang, deal with cold weather, relax, the whole thing. He loves her glamorous side but this Selena is the one who sealed the deal.'

The couple have done plenty of globetrotting since confirming their relationship in January, having been spotted together in a host of glamorous locations, including Florence and Paris.

Last week The Weeknd even rented out a whole cinema for a date with Selena.
