The family of late music icon, OJB
Jezreel will hold a candle light procession for him.
OJB who died back in June 14, 2016 after a 3years battle
with kidney disease would have clocked 50 today.
OJB battled with
kidney problems since 2013 and was flown to India for a transplant. However,
his kidney transplant failed again a week before his demise and OJB passed on.
Sadly, his final
burial rites will commence today starting with a candlelight procession at his
residence in Surulere, Lagos.
The kick off point will be the late singer's house at No 4,
Gbaja street, Surulere, Lagos.
A wake keeping,
service of songs and tributes will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at
Ojays, National Stadium, Surulere by 5pm.
His final burial
will be on July 8 with a lying in state at his residence from 7am – 8am immediately
followed by a service at Redeemed
Christian Church of God, Grace Chapel, 129, Ogunlana Drive Surulere,
Lagos.
He will be buried at the Ikoyi Cemetery Ikoyi, immediately after service.
