Kate Beckinsale’s new man Matt Rife is a hot 21-year-old

ACTRESS Kate Beckinsale’s new relationship has set tongues wagging.
As pictures of the pair kissing passionately have surfaced this week, E! News reports that the English actress has been dating comedian and TV personality Matt Rife for several months.

There is a 22-year age gap between the pair, with Rife just 21 to Beckinsale’s 43 years old.
Beckinsale’s daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, is closer to her new beau’s age at 18 years old. Beckinsale is reportedly also two years older than Rife’s mother.


The new relationship comes in the wake of Beckinsale and director Len Wiseman filing for divorce after 12 years of marriage. Before that, she had an eight-year relationship with actor Michael Sheen from 1995 to 2003.
Beckinsale’s new man describes himself on social media as a “Comedian/Actor/Aspiring Instagram Hoe” — and he’s certainly not shy about showing off his assets to his 85k Instagram followers:
Beckinsale’s not the only female in Hollywood enjoying a relationship with a much younger man — 50-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson is happily married to 27-year-old actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
In a recent interview, she opened up about meeting him at the age of 42, when he was 18.
“People like to talk about it,” the English mother of four said. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, but it works better than my last marriage.’ It’s lasted longer than a lot of my friends’ marriages.”

“If I gave a second thought to other people, I would be the unhappiest person, probably still in a miserable marriage.”
Both Beckinsale and Taylor-Johnson’s relationships pale in comparison to the age gaps in relationships involving some of the celebrity world’s older men: Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner and his current wife Crystal Harris have a 60-year age gap, while 43 years separate Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and partner Melanie Hamrick.
