Golden State Warriors began their NBA Finals rematch against
defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers with a comfortable 113-91 win.
Cleveland turned the ball over 20 times. Compared to four
for the Warriors.
“Twenty turnovers in the Finals definitely is not going to
get it done,” said Cleveland point guard Kyrie Irving.
Kevin Durant hit 38 points and Stephen Curry did his share
by scoring 28 points with six 3-pointers and 10 assists.
James led the Cavs with 28 points, 15 rebounds and eight
assists, Kyrie Irving added 24 points Kevin Love scored 15 points and grabbed
21 rebounds.
Golden State beat Cleveland in the 2015 Finals but let a 3-1
lead slip last year against LeBron James’s Cavaliers, who won their first NBA
title.
