Manchester United's millionaire stars were all smiles despite getting parking tickets during a birthday party for midfielder Ander Herrera.
Juan Mata hosted a lunch for his friend Herrera at Tapeo & Wine in the city with David De Gea, Marcos Rojo and their families all in attendance ye
sterday.
But while they enjoyed a birthday lunch of tapas inside, the parking wardens swooped and slapped their luxury cars with £60 fines.
Juan Mata and his osteopath girlfriend Evelina Kamph  are all smiles as they left the restaurant having celebrated teammate Ander Herrera's birthday
Goalkeeper De Gea escaped a ticket - only because he was late - but his friends returned to find tickets because they all stayed longer than the two hours permitted in Deansgate.
But with the Spanish international friends each earning up to £200,000 a week they all looked happy as they ripped the tickets off their windscreens and drove off.
Birthday boy Ander also got a £60 fine but was untroubled by the ticket as it was pulled off his white Mercedes in Manchester yesterday
The friends had tapas for lunch after United's 4-0 win over West Ham put them top of the Premier League on Sunday.
Herrara's white Mercedes 4x4, Mata's burgundy model and Rojo's black Cadillac Escalade were all fined.
United's Spanish-speaking contingent were busy on social media to celebrate and lightly rib their team-mate Herrera.
Marcos Rojo's black Cadillac Escalade was also fined for staying longer than the permitted 2 hours in central Manchester
De Gea shared a picture of the pair of them together, while Juan Mata posted a snap of a fresh-faced Herrera, kicking back in a stripy jumper with the hashtag 'Cute'.
The Spanish midfielder was an unused substitute in United's convincing start to the new Premier League campaign on Sunday.
Romelu Lukaku struck twice on debut, with Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba also finding the back of the net in a 4-0 win over West Ham.
Though Herrera was left on the bench he did feature in last week's Super Cup final defeat by Real Madrid in Skopje.
