Hollywood superstar Jennifer Lawrence is finally shining a little spotlight on her relationship with director Darren Aronofsky.
The actress, who's been linked to the 48-year-old filmmaker since last fall, has kept their romance largely under wraps, but she recently
opened up to say she and Aronofsky had a strong chemistry early on in their relationship.
"We had energy," she told Vogue, before joking, "I had energy for him. I don't know how he felt about me."
Lawrence, 26, says she and the Brooklyn-born Aronofsky began dating shortly after they wrapped up production on their upcoming movie together — the mystery drama "Mother!" — toward the end of last year.
Speculation ran rampant that they were dating around that time, though Lawrence chose not to confirm whether they were romantically involved at that time.
"I've been in relationships before where I am just confused," Lawrence said. "And I'm never confused with him."
She did reveal, however, that they don't agree on everything. Lawrence is a major reality TV connoisseur, which he finds "vastly disappointing."

But she hasn't experienced the same issue with Aronofsky that she's apparently had with other graduates of Harvard.
"I normally don't like Harvard people, because they can't go two minutes without mentioning that they went to Harvard," she told the magazine. "He's not like that."
"Mother!" is Lawrence's latest film in an impressive career that's seen the star lead the wildly popular "Hunger Games" franchise, earn four Oscars nominations so far and win Best Actress at the Academy Awards for "Silver Linings Playbook."
Her newest movie hits theaters on Sept. 15
